People's Choice 2025

3/29/25, 4:00 PM

TCHM was voted 'Best Museum' in 2025!

We are proud to create exhibits that draw in new audiences and inspire every generation. In 2024, we took a big first step in an initiative to enrich the Tri-Cities timeline with the renovation of our front window, making room for a new Maritime Exploration Space that explores local history through the lens of our shoreline, lakes, and waterways. In 2025, we'll move onto Phase II, which will expand the maritime timeline into a new exhibit replacing the 'Agriculture' exhibit.

A growing collection stewarded to the highest standards. We grew our professionally-managed collection to a total of 73,000 objects in 2024, and we have prioritized the conservation of several one-of-a-kind artifacts, while expanding our outreach to researchers, educators, students, and hobby historians about using the Museum’s Community Archive and Research Center (CARC) to explore local history.

Enriching programs for all ages. We bring local history to life by offering hands-on learning for little explorers, high-interest lectures and workshops to support creative ageing, and new K-12 enrichment activities...and more!
