Regarding COVID-19

In an effort to protect the public, and prevent the spreading of COVID-19, the museum board of directors has decided that the Tri-Cities Historical Museum will be temporarily closed effective at the close of business today, March 13, 2020 until further notice.

Our top priority is to protect and support our staff, visitors, members and volunteers, and we have been taking several proactive precautionary measures, including implementing rigorous cleaning routines and staying in close communication with local and state health officials.

The Museum will undertake a thorough cleaning and plans to announce next steps soon. While there are no confirmed cases connected to the Museum, we believe that we must do all that we can to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our community.

We will continue to post updates to our website and social media as this dynamic situation evolves. We look forward to soon announcing when we’ll be able to welcome our visitors back to the Museum. Until then, enjoy our daily history posts, we have some great ideas in mind for having fun with Tri-Cities history!
