DECK THE HALLS
Join us for our 2022 Deck The Halls event!
In 2020 and 2021, Tri-Cities Historical Museum hosted Deck the Halls...a community event that brought 12+ area nonprofit organizations' creative holiday trees into our Centennial Hall in the month of December.
TCHM created this event as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to support all of our local nonprofits who were hit hard by the cancellation of events and closures of their facilities -- and the community responded whole-heartedly, giving over $2,700 in 2021 to support the organizations dedicated to our community's health, wellness, and happiness.
Each nonprofit has a reserved space where they can display a creatively-decorated holiday tree (or tree-like sculpture/structure) illustrating their mission, their history, or their connection to the community. The trees remain on display and voting is open beginning December 1 through December 31, and the top three vote-getters will be announced on January 5, 2023.
Nonprofits each keep 100% of their proceeds from the voting, plus the top three vote-getters will be awarded a cash prize courtesy of event sponsor Leppink's Food Centers!
Tri-Cities Historical Museum promotes participating nonprofits in a press release and tagged social media posts. Registration going on now through November 15 for area nonprofits and community organizations!
