Look through the window of time into the history of the Tri-Cities and Northwest Ottawa County. The Depot Museum location, situated on the banks of the Grand River in the former Grand Trunk Railroad depot, provides a glimpse at the past, a view of our nautical heritage, and a learning experience for all to enjoy.


The Museum’s two floors house a variety of artifacts depicting the rich heritage of the area: from fur trading and lumbering to the United States
Coast Guard and railroads; visitors will understand the influence that people, industry, religion, and culture played in shaping who we are and where we’ve been.

The Museum’s Coast Guard Room is full of locally-crafted scale models of Coast Guard ships and other Great Lakes and Grand River vessels. Victorian period rooms, sports, agriculture, toy and other exhibits portray day-to-day lifestyles all will find enjoyable.
