Depot Museum of Transportation
Look through the window of time ...
into the history of the Tri-Cities and Northwest Ottawa County. The Depot Museum of Transportation, situated on the banks of the Grand River in the former Grand Trunk Railroad depot, provides a glimpse at the past, a view of our nautical heritage, and a learning experience for all to enjoy.
 
The Depot Museum of Transportation will be open on weekends through October noon-5:00 p.m.  It will close for the winter season Sunday, October 28.
 
The Depot Museum of Transportation is housed in a restored 1870s Railroad Depot.  Step back in time and experience the history of transportation in the Tri-Cities area. Exhibits include railroading, maritime, and land transportation.
 
Discover why Grand Haven is the only official Coast Guard City, USA.  Also, learn how our location at the mouth of the Grand River has made us both the center of commerce and a popular tourist attraction.
